Windows 7 Beta

As many of you tech savvy out there know Microsoft launched their public beta of Windows 7 build 7000. Microsoft is offering this beta until August 1, 2009, and to the first 2.5 million to download this new beta(the beta will now be offered to the 24th). I personally have downloaded this beta, and am currently running it. So far I am quite impressed on the improvment in resource usage over Vista. Also looking at the inferface is much cleaner and more streamlined. This beta download was definitely worth it and I would advise anyone with some extra time and some tech how-to knowledge to give it a try. AMD Phenom II......IS HERE

As a personal AMD fan I have waited with much anticipation for the new AMD Phenom II series of processors. These new 920 x4 and 940x4 black edition are showing to be proven preformers. With respective clock speeds of 2.8 and 3.0, plus the latter having an unlocked multiplier gives these real potential. Enthusiasts have been reported to have clocked 4.0 Ghz with the 940 on air cooling and a spectacular 6.0Ghz with liquid nitrogen cooling. Personally I look forward to being able to get my hands on one of these new processors which are capable of keeping up with the Core i7 at half the price!

Alot of exciting technology news is upon the horizon for 2009. Amd and Intel will continue to battle for ultra efficient processor supremacy with the Core i7 and Amd Phenom II, and air broadcasting will be switching over to digital next month.
